Abdulrahaman Aliagan, a seasoned Journalist, Public Relation expert and Development Practitioner who holds Bachelor Degree of Arts in History from University of Ilorin, Kwara State, Diploma in Common Law, CAILS, an affiliated school of Bayero University Kano and Advanced Certificate in Journalism, Public Relations and Advertising from International Institute of Journalism, (IIJ) Abuja.

He served as a Research Assistant with Actionaid Nigeria (AAN) on The Breaking Barriers and Tax Justice & Gender

He is an Associate member of Nigeria Guild of Editors (NGE), Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) as well as member of Board of Trustee of Nigerian Guild of Investigative Journalists (NGIJ). Aliagan currently doubles as the National Secretary of The Guild, NGIJ.  Member of Board of Trustee of Association of Bloggers and Journalists Against Fake News (ABJAFN), member of Board of Trustee of AL-BUSHRA Islamic Education Development and Awareness Foundation (AIEDAF) and Co-Executive Producer of Islam 101 TV Programme.

He is currently Managing Editor of Time Nigeria Magazine, Group Managing Editor, The PrimeTimes Nigeria (Online) and the Publishers of ArtsDaily Nigeria, a History, Culture and Tourism focused Online Newspaper. He was Director of Communications, Ibrahim Mohammed Ajia Campaign Organisation (ACO), the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) candidate for Asa/Ilorin-West Federal Constituency in the 2023 General elections.

Aliagan started his career as a Copy Boy at The Herald Newspaper in Ilorin, later moved to join the defunct Newspeg Newspaper in Abuja where he was made the pioneer Editor of the Magazine version of the Newspaper. He was the Pioneer Politics Editor of the defunct Mercury Newspaper, Abuja. A Consultant Coach to European Union Agent for Citizen-Driven Transformation (EU-ACT) on Organizational Development Strategy (ODS) a capacity strengthening Programme of British Council for selected Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) in Nigeria. Aliagan has under the EU-ACT Project trained top Managements of about Twenty (20) NGOs, CBOs, FBOs, Networks and Coalitions and develops Strategy Document for the assigned CSOs on Development Strategy, Media-CSO Relations in Sokoto State in 2021 and in Port Harcourt, Rivers State in 2022.
